This is the official Blog for Riverside School's D.T. Department. Every week the children have to update the blog with photographs of completed work along with a write up of achievments. All the work presented in this blog is by the children. In doing so it allows cross curricular links with ICT and Literacy.

Lewis's DT Blog (again)
In DT we are all make really cool but really simple Anderson Shelters the reason why there so cool and simple is because its only three pieces each. We cut out our doors just a small bit off the ground so when they are covered up by dirt its level with the ground. Lisa made the funiture out of cardboard for me, she must have very delicate fingers to do it because the furniture was tiny. I actually shoved the furniture through the door because i couldn't be bothers do cut out a hole and put them in through that. I also made a light for it but not an actual circuit just a cardboard one cut out. we had to get a rule to mesure the size of the bunker roof. Its like your mesureing the width but its actually the length.
