This is the official Blog for Riverside School's D.T. Department. Every week the children have to update the blog with photographs of completed work along with a write up of achievments. All the work presented in this blog is by the children. In doing so it allows cross curricular links with ICT and Literacy.

today i dt i made wooden book case but it was small. i made it out of cardboard which made it flimsy but next week were mking a wooden one. cut out a template and drew round it on cardbord. Then cut it with a knife which blades are sharp and cut you with one slice. then i cut out some pieces and stuck it toghether which burnt my finger because there so hot. After i took it back to class and i was realy pleased with it so i stuck a load of books on it. the next day we were making spaceships which would sit on top of my bookcase. mr fenner drew me parts which i had to cut out with sharp scissors and figured out where to put them. then i stuck them hoping this time i wouldnt get burnt. i made bits to add on like lazer one blue and one red. and wide wings. now i have my spaceship i can put some colour on it.
